22% of the total population of Madhya Pradesh consists of adolescents. Madhya Pradesh government started Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) in the state to help the adolescents to skilfully handle the issues related to health & nutrition, sexual & reproductive health, mental health, substance misuse, gender based violence, non-communicable diseases and cleanliness. Concept of Saathiya is introduced under RKSK which aims on the health and empowerment of the citizens of the country.
